Balenciaga Announces Capsule in Support of Breast Cancer Research
Ten percent of proceeds will help fund a research program at Institut Curie.

Balenciaga will include a special capsule collection alongside its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, the brand has announced.
Created in support of breast cancer prevention research, the ‘We Are Pink’ capsule will comprise a series of unisex jewlry and clothing. Each product in the collection features the universally recognised looped pink ribbon, alongside the Balenciaga logo. Hoodies, long-sleeves and T-shirts all boast both logos, accompanied by the ‘WE ARE PINK’ slogan.
10-percent of proceeds from ‘We Are Pink’ will help to fund a research program at Institut Curie. This program aims to demonstrate the utility of an early breast cancer relapse detection method which measures circulating tumor DNA evaluable on a simple blood draw.
