The Neighbourhood Ushers in 'Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones' on "Devil's Advocate"
The latest cut off of the band’s upcoming fourth studio album.
Following the release of “Cherry Flavoured,” The Neighbourhood has returned with another cut off of their upcoming album Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones.
Accompanied by a music video, “Devil’s Advocate” serves the latest in the Jesse Rutherford-led outfit’s movement into their lustrous alter egos originally introduced on their 2019 song “Middle of Somewhere.” The third single represents The Neighbourhood stripping back its sound for its fourth studio album, mirrored by the lyrics on the track and the visual.
The music video sees Rutherford in his Chip Chrome traversing a series of backdrops in a quest towards his serenity. Through trials and tribulations, Chip eventually centers himself as the song rides to its cycling end carried by the frontman’s distinct vocal stylings.
