Palace has just released a closer look at all the GORE-TEX apparel that are part of its upcoming Fall 2020 drop. This comes just after showing this season’s accompanying lookbook, photographed by Angelo Pennetta, and features Palace Skate team members Lucien Clarke, Kyle Wilson, Charlie Birch, Heitor Da Silva and Dino Da Silva.
Continuing its obsession with GORE-TEX, the inventive crew at Palace has developed its latest set utilizing the waterproof, breathable fabric membrane for Fall 2020. Available in black, white and camo color options, the line up is centered around simple color-blocked segments, reflective 3-M details that express signature Palace and GORE-TEX branding and logo motif seam taping.
Building on the technical fabric base, Palace created a new weatherproof shell jacket style with a plethora of functional details. The two-way main zipper closure introduces elongated strap zips which are continued on all major pocketing. Velcro elements are found on the cuffs and slip pocket on the right arm. Rounding up the design of the jacket is are elasticated pull tabs to cinch the bottom hem and hood. The hood features an elongated point and storm flap, along with button elements for the most testing of conditions.
Carrying much of the same design elements, the matching pants feature a button and zip closure that works with belt loops for secure wear. Lengthy zips run along the side of the pants towards the velcro cinching system that allows the creation of an altered fit around the ankles.
Palace’s Fall 2020 drop is set for both in-store and online releases on August 7, 11 a.m. EDT via the brand’s official webstore, in Japan on August 8, 11 a.m. JST on the Palace Japan webstore, and on the official “Palace_Skateboards” WeChat store which launches on August 8, 11 a.m. CST.
