NLE Choppa Earns First Billboard 200 Top 10 Entry With 'Top Shotta'
Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke and DaBaby also appear in this week’s top 10.
NLE Choppa is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 10, with his debut studio album Top Shotta earning a total of 36,000 equivalent album units. Of that number, 27,000 are credited to streaming equivalent album units, 9,000 in album sales and a small number in track equivalent album units. This marks his first appearance in the top 10 and second chart appearance following Cottonwood‘s peak at No. 57 in January 2020.
Elsewhere in the chart, Taylor Swift‘s folklore holds the top spot for a third consecutive week, followed by Juice WRLD and Pop Smoke‘s posthumous efforts at Nos. 2 and 3 respectively. Rod Wave jumps from No. 23 to 4 thanks to the reissue of Pray 4 Love, while country star Luke Bryan debuts at No. 5.
At No. 6 is the original Broadway cast recording of Hamilton: An American Musical, with Glass Animals, DaBaby and Lil Baby closing out the top 10 at Nos. 7, 8 and 9.
