sacai Drops a Typically Twisted Take on the Fleece
Combining knitwear and outwear for its latest release.
For Spring/Summer 2021, Japanese label sacai has showcased a range of intelligent hybrid garments and approachable silhouettes. Founder Chitose Abe has become renowned for her unique and functional designs, and for her latest release it’s no different.
Arriving in three colorways — brown and khaki / ecru and off-white / black — sacai has launched its range of Faux Shearling Knit Jacket. Expertly combining knitwear and outerwear, Abe has crafted a unique garment, reminiscent of retro outdoors gear.
A pure wool base is overlaid with a gilet-like, deep-pile faux shearling, with accents of contrasting colors appearing on the pockets, zips and cuffs. Crafted with 100% wool and a cupro lining, each jacket is completed with a chest pocket, two side pockets and a funnel neck.
sacai’s Faux Shearling Jacket is available now from END. Clothing, retailing at £1,495 (approximately $1,769 USD).
