Matthew Senna Unveils Resin and Concrete Air Jordan 4 Sculptures
Both iterations to arrive in a custom box for $450 USD.
Following his Air Jordan 1 edition, mixed-media artist and designer Matthew Senna returns with a new sneaker-inspired sculpture edition. Taking inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 silhouette, Senna takes the wraps off his first-ever cement mold of the iconic shoe alongside a resin iteration.
“Cement was part of the original colorway of the sneaker. There is also this connection to the street that comes to mind. Cement and that silhouette brings me back to the days of going to play ball on the cement courts in my hometown around my school,” said Senna in regards to using cement molding.
The two Study 004 sculptures will be available on August 14, head to Matthew Senna’s Instagram page for purchase details. The white resin version will launch as an edition of 250 while the cement resin will release as an edition of 50. Both iterations will come in a custom box for $450 USD.
