adidas Originals Drops Microbounce T1 in Two Retro-Tinged Colorways
Will you choose “Night Cargo” or the garish “Glory Green?”
adidas Originals‘ 2008 throwback, the Microbounce T1, has surfaced in two new retro-tinged colorways. Offered in “Night Cargo,” a mix of white, scarlet, and collegiate navy, as well as another in “Glory Green,” orange, and white, the pairs are perfect for summer and provide plenty of interesting components to help liven up your feet.
The Microbounce T1 showcases the Three Stripes’ bounce technology that features a highly-compressed sole unit made up of a series of hollow circular segments. adidas Originals’ first new pair is the “Night Cargo” colorway, which gives off a retro American feel thanks to its white mesh base, collegiate navy suede overlays, and the use of scarlet red to highlight aspects such as the three stripes on the mid-panel and the base-plate outsole.
Sandwiched inbetween the base-plate and the translucent cushioning system is the aforementioned bounce technology, which is served in a clean creamy hue. Joining this pair is the “Glory Green” colorway, which is equally retro-inspired if not much louder. This pair features a cream, orange, and clear bounce unit that is paired to an orange outsole. It also features a metallic green toe, a wavy blue stripe that runs around the sneaker’s upper, and more metallic components towards the rear.
Take a look at both of adidas Originals’ latest Microbounce T1 sneakers in the gallery above. The pairs retail for £149 GBP each (approx. $195 USD) and can be purchased from Sneakersnstuff’s website now.
