adidas Celebrates Manchester United With Latest UltraBOOST DNA
A crimson take for the Red Devils fans.
Sportswear giant adidas is once again building on its ever-expanding collection of UltraBOOST DNA releases. Shortly after releasing a special colorway for Spanish side Real Madrid, the brand is now turning to an equally massive team from the English Premier League, crafting a crimson pair for Manchester United.
Most of the upper is built from the brand’s highly breathable Primeknit material, at the same time offering greater flexibility. Dressed predominantly in a deeper maroon shade, the Red Devils-inspired scheme is complemented streaks of black and coral weaving around the toebox, with the latter color speckled atop as well. The team’s crest takes the place of the usual adidas logo on the tongue, also printed in coral, while the word “UNITED” adorns the heel tab by the rear. Completing the silhoutte is a matte black Three Stripe midfoot cage and heel counter, coupled with a white BOOST midsole and black Continental rubber outsole.
For the Red Devils fans out there, the adidas Manchester United UltraBOOST DNA is now available on the retailer’s website, going for $180 USD.
