Chasing's M2 Underwater Drone Boasts 4K UHD
Reaching maximum depths of 330 feet.
Aerial drones have become increasingly popular in recent years, opening up a whole new side of photography and videography to enthusiasts, but now, Chinese robotics technology company Chasing is allowing you to push your creative boundaries further with the introduction of its M2 underwater drone.
Equipped with eight separate vectored thrusters, the M2 is equipped with what the brand calls an Omni-Movement system, granting it exceptional maneuverability under water, where it can roll and turn in any direction. The drone’s body is crafted out of an aluminium alloy that can deploy in just three minutes by a single user and allows it to reach depths of up to 330 feet, running at a maximum speed of three knots. A control system gives you a real-time view of what’s happening in the water via its 12-megapixel 4K UHD camera, which can shoot up to 30 frames per second. As for battery life, a full charge can provide a run of up to four hours, although the battery can be swapped out easily to increase usage time.
For those interested, the Chasing M2 underwater drone is now available over on the company’s website, with prices starting at $2,700 USD. Head over to learn more.
