TAG Heuer Celebrates New Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Partnership With Special Edition Watch
Limited to only 1,000 pieces.
With a well-established pedigree in motor sports and racing, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer is once again building on its long-standing relationship with the Principality of Monaco. Already being the official watch of both the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix as well as the Monaco Top Cars Collection, the brand has now joined up with the Automobile Club de Monaco to become the Official Sponsor and Timekeeper of the seven-race Grand Prix de Monaco Historique.
To celebrate this partnership, TAG Heuer is releasing a special edition of the most fitting timepiece in its inventory: the Monaco. Opting for a racing chronograph, the new limited run will come in a wrist-friendly 39mm case featuring a round silver dial cast upon a racing-red squared backdrop, paired immaculately with two subdials of the same shade at 3 and 9 o’clock. The event’s logo in silver can be found at 1 o’clock, with a date window by 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is TAG Heuer’s very own Calibre Heuer 02 movement which comes with an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Finishing the look is of course a perforated leather racing strap in black.
There’s currently no pricing information for the new special edition, but it will have a limited run of only 1,000 units, scheduled to drop in the coming few weeks. Head over to TAG Heuer’s website to learn more now.
