Following early rumors a few weeks back, we now have a first look at the collaboration that applies PLEASURES evocative design sensibility to the Beatnik model. Utilizing a clean black base, the Los Angeles-based label helmed by Alex James has applied a contrasting white stitched spider web to the upper and PLEASURES branding in Old English on the top velcro strap.
The upcoming release serves as the first time an American brand has worked on the beloved footwear style. Originally released back in 1993, the sandal style is a surviving icon in Japanese street culture that recently saw a resurgence thanks to a series of revamped releases.
Take a first look at the PLEASURES x Reebok Beatnik above and stay tuned for more details regarding the global release set for sometime mid-Summer.
