Investigate Gregory Crewdson & Namacheko's FW20 Collaboration

Originally revealed at its Fall/Winter 2020 Paris Fashion Week show, Namacheko is now offering another look at its upcoming collaboration with Gregory Crewdson. The cooperative range builds on designer Dilan Lurr’s personal narrative in a look at his obsessions. Coming together with Gregory Crewdson, the capsule presents the photographer’s work in a new format and continues Namacheko’s character-building collections.
In an evocative voyeuristic exercise, Crewdson’s works are presented in a telescopic frame on a range of capes, coats, knitwear, dresses, tops and scarves. A central theme of the collaboration is the photographer’s view of troubled suburban America that perfectly contradicts the luxurious constructions that serve as a base for Crewdson’s photography. Aside from putting together its first take on denim, Namacheko utilized a sophisticated 18th-century method of warp printing that applies graphics to each individual yarn.
Gregory Crewdson and Namacheko’s FW20 collaboration will start to be available at select retailers like Gagosian Shop, The Broken Arm and Dover Street Market Ginza.
