Dr. Martens Channels Time-Honored Style for Sleek Derby Shoes
With Charles F Stead tannery-sourced suede leather.
Following its collaboration with UNDERCOVER on a pair of 1460 boots, Dr. Martens has crafted two derby shoes with old time style and classic boot-making techniques.
The Desert Oasis derby shoes boast light beige nubuck uppers. Contrasting the lush suede materials, the shoe comes with darkened brass eyelets, complemented by round tonal laces. The silhouette tapers slightly towards the forefoot, finished off with an articulated midsole that’s reinforced with yellow stitching while a glossy AirWair midsole rounds up the shoe’s design. The Charles F Stead tannery-sourced leather derby shoes, conversely, has a more minimal look. It sports sleek black buffed-leather uppers with contrasting brass eyelets. As a final note, the shoes come with a tonal midsole to complete the understated design.
Dr. Martens’ Desert Oasis shoes are currently available on Browns’ website for $165 USD and $115 USD, respectively.
