Justin Roiland's 'Solar Opposites' Receives Full Trailer
An extended look at the ‘Rick and Morty’ co-creator’s new series.
After issuing the brief teaser trailer for Solar Opposites, Hulu has premiered the full trailer for the forthcoming animated sitcom. Only 30 seconds longer than the original clip, the new footage nevertheless introduces much more of the show’s debut season.
Imagined by Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland and executive producer Mike McMahan, Solar Opposites was originally created for Fox, but Hulu stepped in after it was shelved in 2018. Two seasons have been green-lit so far, each consisting of eight episodes. The official trailer offers a slightly-more detailed peek into the exploits of Terry, Korvo, Jesse, Yumyulack and The Pupa, as they dissect their human classmates, tussle with neighbors and use their alien technology to better (and then worsen) the lives of regular Earthlings.
Solar Opposites arrives exclusively on Hulu May 8.
A mere five days before Solar Opposites launches, Adult Swim will premiere the first new episode of the second half of Rick and Morty season 4.
