WACKO MARIA Drops Silky Mandarin-Style Hawaiian Shirts
A fresh take on the label’s signature silhouette.
WACKO MARIA has unveiled a bold new statement piece from its Spring/Summer 2020 collection — a silky Mandarin-style Hawaiian shirt. This release follows a collaborative set of bottle rockets with Neck Face from last week.
Coming in colors of red, black and purple, the shirts boast a sleek texture, detailed with an intricate jacquard finish. Circular dragon patterns and other artful motifs, like trees and clouds, have been etched over the smooth fabric in a tonal palette. The shirt boasts a semi-boxy, relaxed fit, complemented by thin piping along the sleeves, collars, chest pocket and central flap closure. Under a set of notched lapels are four pairs of Chinese frog buttons, complete with subtly knotted laces for a clean, polished finish.
