Emerging Los Angeles/New York label Praying recently released its Spring 2020 collection with a family gathering themed lookbook. Led by Skylar Newman and Alex Haddad, Praying is inspired by a post-Internet aesthetic and drawing from elements of fast fashion, pop-culture, with underlying tones of religion and dogma.

The Spring 2020 range features sweaters, shirts and hats that are all marked by esoteric and whimsical designs that reveal a unique humourous element to the brand. Items that stand out in the “cursed” lookbook include the exaggerated Slightly Fatter NY Logo cap, self-labeling Father Figure Polo and Internet idea URL T-shirt. Other key pieces include the Hope Hoodie, Babies Hoodie, “Pass Me The F*cking Vino” T-shirt and K.Hole T-shirt.

Check out the lookbook above and shop the Spring 2020 on Praying’s website now.

We can expect to see a range of new graphics coming out for Summer ‘20 as well as several collaborations lined up for Holiday this year.

For more contemporary fashion, Circulate’s SS20 collection establishes the fictional “Les Circulate Cabaret” in a celebration of Jazz legends.
