Clark Duke's 'Arkansas' Trailer Introduces Vince Vaughn as a Disorganized Kingpin
Co-starring Liam Hemsworth, John Malkovich, and Vivica A. Fox.
Lionsgate has shared the official trailer for Clark Duke’s directorial debut, Arkansas. The film follows Kyle (Liam Hemsworth) and Swin (Duke), who play a couple of lowly drug runners who get on the wrong side of their kingpin boss, Frog (Vince Vaughn).
Based on the novel by John Brandon, the film dives into how organized crime is the South isn’t all that organized. Posing as junior park rangers by day, Kyle and Swin are drug couriers at night, making runs at night under supervision from Frog’s co-conspirators (played by John Malkovich and Vivica A. Fox). Kyle and Swin are told to blend in with the locals, with Swin defying his orders when he falls in love with a local woman named Joanna (Eden Brolin). Meanwhile, Kyle is attempting to figure out what Frog’s motives truly are. After a plethora of failed attempts to follow Frog’s orders, they become his next target, seeing them as threatening his criminal empire.
The film will also feature a performance from Michael Kenneth Williams.
