adidas has readied two new colorways of its hybrid lifestyle/hoops Streetball for spring: “Cloud White/Collegiate Burgundy” and “Core Black/Collegiate Gold.” An updated take on a classic ’90s adidas Basketball silhouette, the Streetball blends heritage hoops shoe flair with modern-day technology.
Both of these new colorways meld materials like leather, mesh and suede on the upper, all of which secure a bootie-style neoprene liner above the futuristic Lightstrike midsole. However, each differs vastly in its color choices. “Cloud White/Collegiate Burgundy” offers a crisp look, with a white base tone accented by gray and black suedes plus burgundy branded accents. Midsoles equip a gradient fade that moves from black on the heel to gray on the midfoot and white on the forefoot.
Meanwhile, the “Core Black/Collegiate Gold” uses a stark black for the base and calls upon varsity-style yellow branded accents for pops of flair. A splotch of white graces the forefoot, while the midsole inverses the ombre seen on its “Collegiate Burgundy” counterpart, starting with white on the heel before darkening to a smoky black on the forefoot.
This potent paring of adidas Streetball styles are each priced at $110 USD, and will both release on the adidas webstore come April 1.
