CLOT Teams up With Mitchell & Ness for Celebratory Iverson & Durant Capsule
Releasing kits, beanies and Spalding basketballs.
CLOT and Mitchell & Ness have teamed up once again for a capsule collection celebrating Allen Iverson at the 76ers and Kevin Durant at the Sonics.
The capsule collection is comprised of two Hardwood Classics jacquard-knitted wool kits designed by CLOT co-founder Edison Chen. Taking direct inspiration from the iconic kits, CLOT and Mitchell & Ness have delivered a capsule that’s both functional yet premium, switching up the traditional sports-focused fabrics for something more comfortable and leisure-orientated.
Joining the Iverson kit is a shooting shirt and beanie, while Durant’s look receives just the beanie. Alongside this collaborative collection is a variety of beanies that pay homage to NBA history, as well as two Spalding basketballs featuring both CLOT and Mitchell & Ness branding.
The collaboration throws it back to Iverson’s inaugural 1996-1997 season at the 76ers and to Durant’s 2007-2008 season at the Sonics — times in which both were at their peak.
