Hiroshi Fujiwara Teases Upcoming fragment design Collab With 'Cyberpunk 2077'
Two pioneers in their own respective lanes find each other in the hype matrix.
The Godfather of Streetwear, Hiroshi Fujiwara, took to Instagram earlier today to tease what will likely be one of the most intriguing collaborations of the year. Based on the designer’s recently-shared images, Fujiwara and fragment design are merging the realms of fashion and gaming by teaming up with one of the most highly anticipated video games of the 21st century, Cyberpunk 2077. It appears that the collaboration will be inclusive clothing for the futuristic open-world game that merges Fujiwara’s singular vision with the world of Cyberpunk.
The teaser video spans the physical and virtual, showing Fujiwara himself as well as the garments in the real world and in digital form. This will be latest partnership that shows off the intersection of style and gaming, proving that Cyberpunk 2077 will occupy a cultural space that goes far beyond its niche. From the looks of it, the collection will feature a selection of T-shirts, hoodies and a tote bag with branding from both entities, merging the streamlined qualities of fragment with the technical themes of Cyberpunk 2077. With these two sought-after names coming together, it’s suffice to say this will help fuel the buzz surrounding the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
