Callaway Creates Custom Tour Wedges for “Puppies and Golf”
All proceeds will go to the Puppies and Golf Foundation.
Callaway Golf is doing a blind auction for this set of three unique wedges with proceeds going to a notable charity.
The Puppies and Golf Foundation, launched by CBS Sports Announcer Amanda Balionis, is promoting the organization that is dedicated to connecting humans and dogs for a lifetime of purpose and love, with an emphasis on Military veterans. The clubs for this charity were personally designed by Callaway wedge craftsman, Anthony Taranto.
Taranto is a highly coveted treasure for high profile golfers, from Steph Curry to Barack Obama. Opportunities came up firstly when two-time LPGA major winner Anna Nordqvist put his clubs into play on tour, and requests piled up afterwards, and eventually Taranto’s career spawned afterwards, launching a career of club design.
For this iteration, the Pro Tour club artist laser engraved and hand stamped each three right-handed Jaws Tour grey wedges that come in a white & green paint fill finish.
The Puppies and Golf auction ends Dec 15 – visit the Callaway website to support this cause.
