Cactus Plant Flea Market's Latest Capsule Envisions a Green Christmas
A stoner-friendly jacket and smiley sock.
Though its biggest launch of the season is behind us, Cactus Plant Flea Market has even more in store for the end of 2020. The low-key label has realized two playful pieces in time for the year’s end as part of its Christmas Capsule, riffing on familiar brand imagery with a piece of outerwear and accessory.
Here, the crown jewel is a luxe work jacket realized with plush black velvet shell, graphic lining and a bevy of colorful embroidered designs that riff on stoner culture. There’s verbiage (“Doobie,” “Over 1 Billion Stoned,” “Legalize It”) and plenty of hippy imagery, ranging from marijuana leaves to peace signs and even a cross-section of a smoker on the rear, whose brain has transformed into the double-eyed CPFM smiley logo. That same smiley face dons a Santa hat as it clasps one of CPFM’s signature socks, a stylish replacement for the familiar stocking (sock-ing?).
Both items in the Christmas Capsule drop December 12 on Cactus Plant Flea Market’s website and HUMAN MADE’s web store.
