atmos Tokyo Reignites Clarks Originals Collaboration With Two Wallabee Gen Boots
Dropping in “Maple Tiger” or “Black Tiger.”
atmos Tokyo and Clarks Originals‘ friendship dates back 11 years, starting with the Wallabee “Buffalo Plaid” before working on the Harris Tweed pair and this cheetah print offering. Now, the duo is back with two Wallabee Gen boots in “Maple Tiger” and “Black Tiger.”
The Wallabee Gen is Clarks Originals’ more hardcore boot, featuring a chunky Vibram sole unit that is contoured and deeply-grooved on the outsole for added traction. At atmos Tokyo’s hands, the pairs are destined to be bold and daring — and they’re absolutely just that.
For its first collaborative pair, the “Maple Tiger,” atmos Tokyo combines a toe and vamp section made from faux Tiger striped fur with a full upper body of fluffy faux fur. This is intersected with a “Maple” suede heel tab, a black leather collar decorated with coordinates in silver-toned stamping, and a black leather eyestay placket on both sides of the shoe.
Additionally, you’ll find Clarks Originals’ traditional hang tags finished in “Maple” and blue suede, with the latter sporting atmos’ signature.
The “Black Tiger” pair takes on a similar construction but colors the tiger-themed design in black and gray. This is combined with an upper of black faux fur, a pink leather collar also sporting silver coordination stamping, a black leather heel tab, a black Gen Vibram sole unit, and lastly, hang tags in black and pink.
Both atmos Tokyo x Clarks Originals Wallabee Gen boots will cost ¥ 27,500 JPY (approx. $266 USD) each and are due to release on the atmos Tokyo website via a raffle, ending on December 18.
