FILA FUSION and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Turn up The Heat With FM-5 "Flame" Sneakers
Only 1111 pairs are available.
FILA‘s new subsidiary FILA FUSION has tapped Maison Mihara Yasuhiro for a fiery design on a silhouette being billed as FM-5. Dubbed “Flame,” the sneakers are available in white and black colorways, letting the vibrant flame-prints to pop from their monochromatic bases.
Likening to that of MMY’s OG Sole silhouette, the new model features a chunky midsole that offers a bold contrast to its sleek leather uppers. “Maison Mihara Yasuhiro” branding is woven at the top of its tongue, complemented by a set of crisp white laces that cover the forefoot. “MIHARAYASUHIRO” is also printed along the sidewalls, just under the lower portion of the eyelet panel, while a silver-toned detail button is placed around the upper quarters. Topping off the shoe’s design are suede panels at the heel, a smooth rubber toecap and a puffed-up midsole that comes with a thin beige gum outsole.
Release details of FILA FUSION and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s FM-5 “Flame” sneakers remain scarce, but sources have speculated the shoes will be available for raffle on FILA’s website soon — only 1111 pairs will be available.
