Porsche Design Joins AOC for a 911-Inspired Gaming Monitor
With a color and Porsche Design logo projector.
AOC — makers of the #1 gaming monitor — have just teamed up with Porsche Design for a gaming monitor like no other. Standing at 27 inches in size, the monitor features QHD resolution (2560×1440), a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT pixel response times.
Inspired by race cars, the monitor is made with a silver-colored stand to mimick a roll cage, and has a multi-light projector that can shine colors and the Porsche Design logo to the back of the display and on the table. This display is also certified with VESA’s DisplayHDR 400, and maintains a slim profile with a curvature of 1000R (1 m radius).
On top of the display, this offering also includes a wireless keypad that shaped like a Porsche center console. This keypad allows for quick access to settings and personal presets. Additional features arrive in the form of 5W stereo speakers with DTS sound, 4-port USB 3.2 hub, 2x HDMI 2.0, and 2x DisplayPort 1.4 inputs.
Just new to the market, the Porsche Design x AOC AGON PD27 gaming monitor has already won a 2020 Red Dot Award. Look for this display over at AOC retailers, and at Porsche Design where it retail for €799 EUR (approximately $940 USD).
