Lacoste and National Geographic Celebrate the Prints of the Animal Kingdom
Inspired by the Photo Ark project to document all animal species.

Lacoste has presented a new collaboration with National Geographic, featuring an array of prints taken from the animal kingdom. The collaborative collection is inspired by National Geographic Photo Ark project, which is an attempt to document every species living in the world’s zoos, aquariums and wildlife sanctuaries.
Creating the collection, Lacoste went through the archive of more than 10,500 species, eventually settling on four animals to spotlight. The collection references the Grévy’s Zebra (Equus grevyi), the Green and Black Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates auratus), the Halloween Pennant Dragonfly (Celithemis eponina) and the Jaguar (Panthera onca). The distinctive patterns of each animal are used on jackets, T-shirts, sweaters, sunglasses, trainers and more.
All materials used within the collection are eco-responsible and have been certified as sustainable and recycled. This covers everything from the rubber outsoles on the footwear to the organic cotton of the polos.
