While also showcasing a lot of ‘Halo’ imagery.
Microsoft has revealed the first commercial for its upcoming Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles and it stars Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya. The footage above follows the British actor traveling from his at-home entertainment center to several locations from the console’s upcoming titles. As he puts on his gaming headset ready to boost the next-gen console, he is transported to locations from games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Halo Infinite, despite the latter originally being a launch game before getting delayed.
The commercial is scored to Labrinth’s “No Ordinary” and is slated to debut on television during the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks game on October 11. Recently Sony debuted its own trailer for the PlayStation 5, which focused on the system’s 3D audio support, DualSense controller, haptic feedback, and more.
The Xbox Series X is due November 10 at $499 USD alongside its entry-level Xbox Series S console at $299 USD.
