Artist Grimes has just released news that she has joined with music startup Endel to create an AI-generated lullaby. “AI Lullaby” will take Grimes’ vocals and incorporate them with an algorithm for a real-time soothing soundscape.
Grimes comments: “I think, if approached properly, AI has the ability to radically fix our world. I appreciate Endel because they represent the growing trend of humane technology. I hope that the fields of AI safety, research, philosophy, as well as humane AI and spiritual technology etc. can grow a lot in the coming years. We’ll need it!”
Check out the audio clip of AI Lullaby above, and find the full lullaby on Eldel’s iOS app until December 23rd.
In other music news, SM Entertainment’s new K-pop girl group “aespa” will feature human and virtual members.

Hey! I did a project with @endelsound to create AI LULLABY – an adaptive sleep soundscape for babies and adults. The audio changes depending on the time of day and whatnot- always making new music for u! And yeah, so I was inspired since x sleeps to a lot of ambient noise. I thought it would be cool if babies could listen to live performances by computers to help them sleep haha. It is scientifically engineered to help you sleep and nap better. Link in bio! . . . Right now on iOS and macOS only, other platforms later this year. #ailullaby #endel #grimes
