Balenciaga Collaborates With Vibram For 'Toe' Collection

Introduced during Balenciaga‘s Winter 20 runway presentation, the Balenciaga Toe is the fashion house’s latest collaboration with Italian footwear brand Vibram. A limited-edition version of the Toe will appear in a selection of international Balenciaga stores and online retailers on October 16.

The Balenciaga Toe collection consists of two limited-edition sneaker styles and a high-heeled style, each made from recycled knit. Vibram, recognised as the worldwide leader in rubber sole production, is also known for its patented FiveFingers shoes.

FiveFingers fit a flexible sole onto the foot, separating each toe and allowing for better tactile perception while walking or climbing. The collaborative collection takes FiveFingers to a new direction by adding bounce and height to an already extrasensory experience. Each style is printed and stamped with multiple Vibram and Balenciaga logos along the edges of the foot and above the five separate digits. Each limited-edition pair is numbered as one in a series.

The Balenciaga Toe Sock is available in ‘Carmine Red’ and ‘Black’, the Balenciaga Toe Lace Up in ‘Black’ and resting on a heavy-duty suspension heel, and the Balenciaga Heeled Toe in ‘Neon Pink’ and ‘Black’ and sitting atop a molded black heel.

A limited number of Balenciaga Toe pairs will be available via Balenciaga.com and selected stores come October 16.
