Audemars Piguet Unveils Complex Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie Code 11.59
With a bespoke enamel dial crafted by Anita Porchet.

Audemars Piguet has just unveiled a new Grande Sonnerie version of the Code 11.59 watch. The Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie Code 11.59 takes the Code 11:59 to another level with 489 parts, and a full Grande Sonnerie Supersonnerie function that features three gongs and hammers (carillon).
Unlike the traditional Sonnerie, Audemars Piguet’s mechanism is capable of chiming every hour, quarters, and minutes, but also has the added function of automatically striking the hours and quarter-hour much like a clock. Marking this milestone of a watch, the Swiss Haute Horlogerie has also enlisted famed Swiss enameller Anita Porchet for a hand-painted “Grand Feu” dial.
Limited to just three examples, the Audemars Piguet Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie Code 11:59 will sell for 710,000 CHF (approximately 776,000 USD).
