YoungBoy Never Broke Again Releases Music Video for "Make No Sense"
The 20-year-old Baton Rouge rapper channels his inner 2006 Gucci Mane.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s AI YoungBoy 2 mixtape earned the Baton Rouge rapper his first No. 1 Billboard 200 placement thanks to an expansive 18 tracks showcasing the 20-year-old’s penchant for melodies and smart homages to the past with references to Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. Now he returns with the new visual for “Make No Sense.”
The “Make No Sense” music video follows the release of the Michael Jackson-referencing (and quite possibly Floyd Mayweather dissing) “Dirty Iyanna” back in December and October’s lead single “Carter Son”. This go around, the rapper who frequently tops YouTube’s list of most streamed artists, returns in an iced-out traphouse kitchen embracing his inner-2006 Gucci Mane.
“I feel like I’m Gucci Mane in 2006/ All these diamonds dancing on my f*cking neck cost like four bricks/ And the way that I be toting on that strap don’t make no sense/ He a million dollar ni**a but be posted in the bricks, uh,” NBA YoungBoy raps over Atlanta-native producer Buddah Bless’s glittering piano keys.
YoungBoy’s most recent project garnered a total of 110,000 equivalent albums units with 144.7 million on-demand audio streams earned for the album’s first week. Watch his latest music video above and stream NBA YoungBoy’s AI YoungBoy 2 below.
