YoungBoy Never Broke Again Drops Video for 'AI YoungBoy 2' Opener "Carter Son"
The Baton Rouge superstar continues to dominate YouTube.
Last week, YoungBoy Never Broke Again released an expansive new studio project titled AI YoungBoy 2. The follow-up to his 2018 tape Realer, AI YoungBoy 2 is made up of 18 new tracks, including two guest features from YoungBoy affiliate Quando Rondo and rising young Alabama rapper NoCap. Now, further supporting his newly-released full-length effort, the Baton Rouge superstar is introducing a new music video for AI YoungBoy 2‘s Money Montage-, Aura- and KK McFly-produced opening salvo “Carter Son.” Notably, the aforementioned clip was put together by director E. Buckles and edited by Chaz Smedley and David Camarena.
“Made n***a, bought my own Rollie / But if them crackers pull me over, they gon’ say I stole it,” YoungBoy raps during the first round of bars on “Carter Son.” “Good mornin’, we on it, I went bought two S trophies / My father left my sis and bros, to them, I feel I owed it / But let’s not be heroic, ’cause everybody roguish / They don’t want us totin’ guns, but they let the f*ckin’ killers tote it / Let’s take a ride and see, though, where them people be, though / Colt 45, the grip design, bought this bitch from Casino / Soprano, no Soprino, we live life like Yung Bino / Had a show in B-more, after that post on the block with Chino / Look for a star on every hundred, C note / I’m the top on YouTube, f*ck a new school, I don’t use no Vevo.”
