Respawn Entertainment has announced a new Grand Soirée event for Apex Legends Season 3 set to run January 14 until January 28. The occasion is set to introduce seven new game modes every two days for two weeks alongside rotating themed cosmetics from the in-game store.

The trailer above lists the following game modes from the event:

Gold Rush Duos: Gold weapons only with you and a friend
Third-Person mode: A classic out of body experience
Armed and Dangerous World’s Edge: Shotguns and Snipers with limited armor
Kings Canyon After Dark: Play on Kings Canyon at night
Dummies Big Day: This game ain’t gonna test itself
Live Die Live: Automatically spawn on living squadmates when the ring closes
Always Be Closing: Keep on the move from a big ring that won’t slow down

The event will also bring back other concept modes like Armed and Dangerous and the night version of Kings Canyon. The third-person mode is an entirely new perspective for the FPS, however, Dummies Big Day appears reminiscent to Fortnite‘s Playground mode. Many fans also speculate that the Grand Soirée event will be the last celebration before the debut of Apex Legends season 4.

In other gaming news, Nintendo and Game Freak announce an upcoming expansion pass for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
