Those who saw Stefano Pilati‘s recent Random Identities FW20 show at Pitti Uomo, might’ve noticed a few pairs of new Birkenstocks stepping on the runway: an iteration of Birkenstock’s “Arizona” silhouette in three bold colorways of “Black,” “Brocade” and “Leopard.”

The “Leopard” is one of the more striking patterns out of the three. It’s made up of delicate cowhide colored by darkened brown and orange tones. Metallic belt buckles are placed at the silhouette’s uppers — a textural contrast further accented by ballistic nylon materials that appear over the straps. The same ripstop fabric is placed over the “Brocade,” offsetting its intricately woven floral motifs, coming in a faint gold palette that blends quietly with the black shade. Lastly, the “Black” is the most understated version of the three, boasting sleek, smooth leather uppers that have been subtly detailed with tonal top-stitching. All three sandals come with a molded footbed for optimal support and comfort.

The Random Identities x Birkenstock “Arizona” Sandals are available via Birkenstock’s webstore and at select retailers like Nubian on their website, ranging from $419 — $583 USD.

Elsewhere, Rick Owens’ Tecuatl Army Boots have been given a mega lacing treatment.
