UNIQLO U — the retailer’s sub line designed by the Christophe Lemaire-led design team at the UNIQLO Paris R&D Center — has returned with a first look at its upcoming Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Continuing the aesthetic that it has developed throughout previous collections, the latest UNIQLO U release sees updated staple pieces alongside clean and sophisticated basics.
Additionally, the collection features pieces in signature UNIQLO technologies, include BLOCKTECH — a soft fabric that is waterproof, windproof and breathable — which is used on men’s duffle coats and other outerwear. The collection also sees items celebrating 25 years of UNIQLO fleece, including reversible boa fleece jackets and wool-blend overshirts. Lastly, the FW19 collection includes updated takes on classic pants silhouettes, with a stand-out being the new wide-fit tapered jean that references traditional workwear.
Take a look through the UNIQLO U lookbook in the gallery above, and expect the FW19 collection to arrive on the brand’s web store on September 26.
