Palace Autumn 2019 Sweatshirts
Plentiful sportswear and historical references.
Palace‘s latest array of sweaters, hoodies and pullovers encompass a wide array of hues and graphics previewed in the brand’s latest lookbook. Naturally, the British label’s sense of humor shines through, with a bevy of nods to popular culture and its own preferred motifs.
A slew of thematic Triferg images appear throughout, offered in bi-color and simple “P” form, to name a few. Patchworked logos and stripe patterns add a subversive twist to the usual detailing, with stonewashing lending several hoodies extra visual interest. One key print sees a Dallas Cowboys flip (“PALLAS”), along with a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-like logo, a cigarette packaging nod (perhaps a riff on Texas Lights) and some ancient Greek-style imagery that sees a figure utilizing a Palace chisel to carve out lorem ipsum upon a pillar.
