Following a lithograph edition with Print Them All, LA-based visual artist Michael Reeder launches a captivating new show entitled “The OtheRealm” at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City. Reeder presents a slew of mixed-media works portraying his signature skull, portrait, and geometric motifs in vivid tones.

The centerpiece of the exhibition is an immersive room entirely painted with gnarled triangles that create a rough yet vivid composition. Displayed inside the room are varying sized portraiture depicting realist subjects with flat patterning for a striking contrast. Altogether, the showcase is perhaps one of the artist’s largest to date.

“The OtherRealm” is on view until August 24. Visit Thinkspace’s website for further details.

In other dynamic exhibitions, check out Robert Nava’s “Vs” exhibition at Night Gallery in Los Angeles where the artist grapples with mythical creatures across large-scale canvas works.
