HERESY FW19 Utilizes Surrealist Artworks, Folklore Iconography & Combat-Spec Fabrics
“Growing” debuts a collaboration with military-wear specialist Arktis.

London-based label HERESY has presented its “Growing” collection for Fall/Winter 2019 alongside a collaboration with Arktis, the specialist brand known for its military, police and outdoor clothing.
HERESY continues its folklore research through its graphic references seen most notably on pieces such as the woven blanket, which is adorned with the labels favorite folklore icons all over. Pieces such as the “Growing” long-sleeve T-shirt sport a rear collage design featuring various Celtic idol heads alongside botanical images, while garments such as the Dismembered God long-sleeve utilizes imagery by Peter Maton along with surrealist works by the likes of Picasso, Henry Moore and Dorothea Tanning.
Arktis has been enlisted for the Omen garments, which is comprised of a smock jacket, combat trousers, a boonie hat and lugger tote bag. Each features the HERESY moniker, Arktis branding and a moth motif, which contrast the bold HERESY camouflage print. The Omen pieces are made from hardy 50/50 ripstop and are all showerproof.
