BILLY'S and Converse Prep Asymmetric Leopard-Printed Jack Purcell
Crafted from suede and corduroy.

Following closely behind the Converse All Star Coupe OX sneakers in “Beige,” Japanese retailer BILLY’S is preparing to release a partially-leopard-printed pair of the classic low-tops sneakers. The Converse Jack Purcell “Blend” features mismatched uppers that juxtapose the animal print against corduroy and suede side panels for a wide variety of textures.
The leopard pattern overtakes the lateral side on the right sneaker and completely covers the tongue on the left shoe. In contrast, the right shoe offers corduroy on tongue and its counterpart places corduroy on its medial side. Both sneakers sport suede on their left sides. Other details include soft white laces and a white sole for a clean contrast against the shades of brown. A navy blue stripe on the toe cap creates the classic Purcell “smile,” anchoring the playful design to the classic silhouette’s rich roots.
BILLY’S exclusive Converse Jack Purcell “Blend” is priced at ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $100 USD) and will be available starting on August 30 at BILLY’S Shibuya. Pre-orders will begin on the brand’s web store beginning on August 24.
