Rare McLaren F1 in LM-Specification to Hit Monterey Auction
Just one of two in existence.

RM Sotheby’s will dispatch a bevy of rare supercars at its upcoming auction during Monterey Car Week in California. One of its most rare selections is a McLaren F1 in LM-Specification — just one of two in existence. For those who aren’t familiar with the model, McLaren upgraded the standard F1 road car to this specification that boasts the unrestricted 680-horsepower GTR spec. In addition, a high downforce kit was implemented alongside a wider rear wing, a different nose, and front fender vents. Other touches include 17-inch wheels, the addition of two radiators as well as a modified exhaust system.
This F1 has 13,352 miles on the odometer, and it has received a complete written history and evaluated by MSO. Although there aren’t any pre-sale estimates on the price of the vehicle, it will surely nab millions at the RM Sotheby’s auction to take place this August 15-17. Peep the rare supercar above and let us know your thoughts.
