After releasing the Lover Chanting EP in the fall, Little Dragon has joined forces with fellow Swedish musician sir Was for his smooth new record, “Deployed.” Yukimi Nagano adds her trademark sound to the track, which is the first single off of sir Was’ upcoming album, Holding On To A Dream.

The soft tunes feature the two singers sharing verses on the ups and downs of love and choosing to stand tall through it all. Having long been acquainted, the Gothenburg artists mutually supported one another over the years, eventually leading to the collaboration with Nagano.

Sir Was explained to Complex: “Just when I thought I was done with this new album the song came along and took me by surprise. Straight away I could hear Yukimi’s voice on it so I just felt like I had to ask her to do it.”

Listen to the full song in the video above and look out for Holding On To A Dream to release on September 21.
