Aside from touching on an array of interesting topics, Kanye West‘s hour-long special of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman features a segmented dedicated to the artist’s California home.
The former late night host gets a full rundown of Kanye’s interesting minimalist home which channels the traditional Japanese aesthetics sensibility of wabi-sabi, a design choice centered around the acceptance of transience and imperfection. We get a look a Kanye’s Yuji Ueda ceramics collection, amazing washroom and what looks to be a YEEZY showroom in his home. David Letterman then goes on to touch on what design means to the artist and prompts the previously teased styling session.
