Hiroyuki Fujita’s JIEDA returns for Spring/Summer 2020 with a fresh assortment of easygoing warm weather items. Oversized tailoring meshes with retro athleisure, yielding a blend of contemporary street-leaning looks.
A Kappa collaboration is at the core of the collection, reinforcing JIEDA’s earnest appreciation for the throwback sportswear era that influenced the range. Shirts and blazers are enormous, trousers feature ample slits, bucket hats run rampant and a bespoke Airwalk SCOACH sneaker is executed with intentionally-dated flame detailing. Sophisticated Prince of Wales plaids meets gingham check and acid-washed denim in a clash of mature styling and youthful inspiration, while half-sleeve knitwear and huge denim jackets emphasize the collection’s slouchy intent.
