Glassdoor has just shared a new salary report that will make most people around the world a little shocked.

In the report shared earlier today, the highest-paid internships were placed on the table and coming in at number one is Facebook, who offers up a median monthly salary of $8,000 USD.

Coming in second is Amazon who pays its interns a median monthly salary of $7,725 USD followed by Salesforce in third with $7,667 USD. Rounding out the top five are Google with $7,500 USD per month and Microsoft with $7,250 USD per month, respectively. If you add it all up, an intern staying at one of the aforementioned workplaces for a whole year would be earning a salary of over $90,000 USD.

Tech companies made up 44% of the list followed by finance and consulting firms. The review data was complied from submitted posts from interns between March 1, 2018 and February 28, 2019.

Here’s the full ranking for highest-paid internships in the U.S. for 2019 in median salaries.
