The Shoe Surgeon Creates One-Of-One Air Jordan 1 & AJ4 for Travis Scott
Featuring a medley of luxurious leathers.
The Shoe Surgeon has created two one-of-one Jordan’s for Travis Scott to wear on his ‘Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour’. Reworking the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4 in true Travis style, Dominic Ciambrone has drawn inspiration from military aesthetics and the recently teased friends and family-exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Olive Cactus Jack.”
The Shoe Surgeon has handcrafted both of the iconic basketball silhouettes from an authentic vintage military fabric, and while keeping the upside-down Travis Scott branding on the tongue interior and “Cactus Jack” heel cup graphic, the pairs both receive a luxurious leather update. Both the AJ1 and AJ4 see flight jacket-orange quilted plonge leather lining — leather that is rich in color and incredibly soft as a result of its rare blemish-free, drum-dyed lambskin makeup.
The AJ1 takes the luxurious touch one step further with the addition of a python Swoosh. Staying true to Travis Scott’s soon re-releasing Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack”, The Shoe Surgeon keeps the Swoosh reversed and sports a contrasting deep black hue. Finished with a clean white and black sole unit, the custom pairs are sure to be soon spotted on the feet of the Houston, Texas rapper.
