The first official trailer for the Lil Yachty-helmed How High sequel has arrived.

Following in the footsteps of Method Man and Redman, How High 2 will star Lil Yachty (playing the part of Roger) and DC Young Fly (Calvin) as a pair of friends who discover a “Weed Bible” in their basement wall and end up growing a supernatural plant. Soon after it gets stolen and the pair must go on an adventure to get it back. The film will also star Deray Davis, NeNe Leakes, Lil Baby and Mike Epps who returns as Baby Powder.

Written by Family Guy‘s Shawn Ries and Artie Johann, Workaholics‘ Alex Blagg, and Powerless‘ Neel Shah, look for How High 2 to aptly drop April 20.

The original How High was released back in 2001 and saw Meth and Red as two stoners who make it into Harvard University. Of course it has since then become a cult classic amongst the cannabis connoisseurs. Both Meth and Red were originally slated to star in the sequel before Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly stepped in.

“Long story short is that me and Meth was not aware that they were doing this transaction with the movie,” Red told the Grass Routes podcast back in October. “[...] But my thing is when you have a brand, like Red and Meth, that kind of helped built and created this entity of How High and shooting a movie on marijuana and being in college […] those were all of our ideas. And when the deal came about, we wasn’t involved in it.”

In more entertainment news, Donald Glover and Rihanna’s Guava Island project could be dropping this week.
