Take a First Look at Fluffy From Universal Orlando's Hagrid-Themed Attraction
The ride is set to open this June.
Universal Orlando Resort has a new Hagrid-themed ride currently in the works, and ahead of its scheduled debut this June, we now have the first look at “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure” version of Fluffy, the three-headed dog. A part of Universal’s ever-expanding The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the opening of the new ride will commemorate the five-year anniversary of the themed area.
The new ride will be located in Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, with park attendees able to take the Hogwarts Express to Diagon Alley via Universal Studios Florida. Originally the ride was teased back in February, revealing that the ride would have two options for visitors to choose – being able to ride in Hagrid’s motorbike or relive Harry Potter’s point of view by choosing the sidecar. Through the ride, a plethora of real trees will be viewable, as well as a variety of magical creatures that weren’t featured in the films. Fluffy is the first of these creatures to be revealed, with the park stating that they will encounter the three-headed beast “deep in the Forbidden Forest,” with his size being “roughly as big as two standard Muggle cars.” The next beast to be teased will be the Cornish Pixies, with the press release also confirming that a Centaur character will also be featured.
You can check out the newly revealed images of Fluffy from the ride above. Stay tuned as more news surrounding the attraction will be arriving in the near future.
