FMB DZ Debuts a New Video for 'The Gift 2' Standout "Loyalty"
One of the modern Detroit rap scene’s best rappers.
In the final days of 2018, Detroit rapper FMB DZ delivered one of the last great projects of that year with The Gift 2, a 16-track showcase of his gritty, no-nonsense, hard-as-pavement street narratives. Continuing to support that project, FMB DZ is following up this month’s “Sacrifice” video with Lil Yee and Lil Pete by serving up another new visual of his own. Specifically, the Detroit hometown-hero is teaming up with directors @Hustleberryfin and @KeeferKhan for the official music video for The Gift 2 standout “Loyalty.”
“‘Loyalty’ was directed by MVP. They came up with the concept and really captured what I was saying on the song,” FMB DZ tells us, breaking down his latest visual. “We out here working and will be dropping 2 more videos from The Gift 2 for ‘Windsor’ and and ‘Big Unk’ soon. I’m also working on a new project to be released on my birthday, July 13th.”
“I think everybody has been in a position where they feel like they ain’t being respected in their relationship, especially when you are doing everything they can for the other person,” FMB DZ adds, elaborating on the themes of “Loyalty” and his real-life inspirations for creating the record. “I feel like you are going to go through some shit in your relationship but each person needs to be down no matter what.”
