Danner & Helinox Unite for Outdoors-Minded Spring 2019 Camp Collection
New boots, tables and chairs.
Nearly one month after teaming up with hobo for a tactical, blacked-out take on the TACHYON 6” Lightweight Boot, Danner connects with Helinox for a new range of camping-minded wares for Spring 2019. Specifically, Danner and Helinox have introduced the Camp Collection, a three-item lineup made up of a special-edition black version of the Danner Light Boot silhouette, Helinox Chair One and Table One Hardtop.
Notably, Danner and Helinox’s Camp Collection for Spring 2019 utilizes the DAC aluminum alloy material to produce the lightweight and “meticulously designed” Chair One and Table One Hard Top. The Portland-manufactured Danner Light boasts premium leather, stitchdown construction, a GORE-TEX liner, Helinox’s signature ripstop nylon, Dyneema laces — which were created using the strongest fiber available on this planet — and a heavy-duty Vibram Kletterlift outsole. Altogether, this new collaboration emphasizes “superior craftsmanship,” “innovative design,” and the ultimate in “comfort and longevity;” each of these products was created with “spring hikes and cool nights around the campfire” in mind.
“We were able to dive into the details for all the pieces of this collection,” shares Helinox designer Minsoo Park. “Like the silver and cyan blue anodized hooks at the top of the boots to the leather hits on the Chair One and Table One. Both companies are focused on design and craftsmanship for outdoor enthusiasts, so the collaboration came together easily.”
