Cuco Drops New Single "Hydrocodone," Announces North American Tour
The tour starts in June.
Cuco shares his new record titled “Hydrocodone,” the lead single off his yet-untitled debut album. This is his first release since signing with Interscope Records in March.
“Hydrocodone” is named after the pain medication he was on following the car accident he and his band narrowly survived while on tour in Tennessee in October 2018. The drowsy record tells a somber love story of the feelings of isolation that surface around a young heartbreak.
“I’m super excited to be back releasing my own music with this single ‘Hydrocodone’, the first one from my debut album. Ecstatic to put this song out after two years of working on it, having finished it on my Apple headphones in the hotel room off Hydrocodone post surgery recovering from our accident. Hope you enjoy it.”
To go along with the new record, Cuco announced his new tour that will start this summer, spanning the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The tour kicks off June 17 in Washington, D.C. and ends July 27 in his hometown of Los Angeles.
